Always cool and surprising. This is true for Gelale’s mixes. His sense for good sound can be seen in Cadence. It is difficult to choose one of his good mixes. But my Surprise was the good taste. Some tracks stand out at the top.
Especially Supersoul from Hannover – combines urban funk and soul grooves with German lyrics in their self-written songs. „Dem Funk Sei Dank“ is the instrumental part of the album. The rare Northern Soul 45 by Carl Hall is also great such as „Blue trane“ written by John Coltrane recorded by pianist Cedar Walton in 1975.
My highlight certainly is General Crook’s Number „What Time It Is„!
A 45’s A and B Side in 1971. Thanks Gelale for this great contribution.
