How Would You Feel – Curtis Knight & The Squires, Jimi Hendrix
An early recording in Jimi Hendrix’s career, “How Would You Feel” (reminiscent of Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone”) showcases Hendrix’s emerging talent. Although Curtis Knight & The Squires never reached Hendrix’s fame, this collaboration remains a significant piece of musical history.

Nutbush City Limits – Ike & Tina Turner
This classic by Ike & Tina Turner celebrates Tina’s hometown of Nutbush, Tennessee. Released in 1973, the song remains a timeless piece in rock and soul music, with numerous covers and cultural references.
At that point, when I was putting the mix together, I didn’t know that Tina was going to die. On 24 June 2023, this icon of rock and soul music died in Zurich. Goodbye to a heroine.

The Devil Made Me Do It – Curtis Knight With Zeus
